I REFUSE TO ACCEPT THE SLIPPERY SLOPE ARGUMENT WHEN IT COMES TO GUNS. I lived in the remote town of Fall River Mills for more than 20 years, and if I called 911 in the middle of the night because I was being attacked, it might be more than 1 hour before law enforcement would arrive; my gun was my first line of defense. I will always support the 2nd Amendment to make sure guns are not taken away from law abiding citizens.

Recent tragedies like the Orlando Shooting have proven to the nation that, there are people who should not have access to guns. The nation's political leaders need to take reasonable steps to keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Good gun regulation does not mean it is the first step in taking away everyone's guns, it means that we are taking preventative measures towards effective and reasonable gun control.
